Shimmer's WE Care Program
Supporting Our Community 365
Shimmer is dedicated to providing monetary donations to organizations, charities and different causes that impact and makes a difference in our community.
Shimmer has made the sole pledge to sponsor a different organization for every company-sponsored event, by donating 15% of proceeds earned from each event (i.e. ticket sales).
We collaborate with many organizations doing important work in a range of issue areas. Unfortunately, our own funding limitations keep us from awarding Event Donations to all organizations that apply. Organizations are strongly encouraged to apply as early as possible. Each month we support a different cause (i.e. During the month of June we will be supporting Youth Development). So if you are an organization that specializes in youth development you'd want to submit your application 90 days in advance of June and vice versa for those organizations that represent other issues.
Please review the following donation criteria before you apply. If you have questions regarding our grant criteria or the content of any of our Event Donations, please call 919-410-7144 or 252-259-0306, and or send e-mail to community_relations@shimmeree.com and place Donation Question in the subject line, and we will be happy to answer your questions.
