Firstly, Shimmer Events & Entertainment would like to personally thank all of those who came out to the Business Connection on January 25, 2012. It was lots of fun, and the business professionals who came out enjoyed themselves and made new contacts. Secondly, Shimmer E&E's business tools launch date has been pushed back to April 2012. Our team of web developers are working overtime to ensure everything runs smoothly with the launch. Lastly, we regret to annonce that due to the low number of particpants, the NC Prestige Small Business Awards have been postponed to 2013. Anyone who sent in an application with payment will be refunded the full amount.

Shimmer Annonces 2012 Campaign!!! - September 13, 2011
Shimmer is proud to annonce its 2012 campaign for change, "Partying with a Purpose". The hope for the campaign is to provide fun and entertainment for North Carolinans, while giving back to those who are less fortunate. The company sponsored event will generate funds and a percentage will be donated to important causes, organizations, and or charities. Each month there will be a different humanitarian topic. Kicking off the party year in January, Shimmer will be donating proceeds from each event in that month to Haiti relief and or disaster relief efforts.
